About
Theory of Change
How our work leads to an emergency healthcare system where no life is lost due to delays, barriers, or lack of access to care.
-
01
The problem
People lose their lives because emergency care arrives too late, costs too much, or is not available.
-
02
What we do
Community first response, systems strengthening, workforce development, digital innovation, research and partnerships.
-
03
What changes
Communities act early, responders are skilled, referral and dispatch are coordinated, and decisions use evidence.
-
04
The result
A resilient, equitable and integrated emergency healthcare ecosystem where no life is lost to delay.
Emergency care fails people at several points: when a community does not recognise an emergency, when no one trained is nearby, when transport is too slow or too costly, and when facilities and responders are not coordinated.
We act at each of these points. Communities learn to identify emergencies and give first response. Governments and institutions build coordinated emergency medical systems. Emergency workers gain skills. Digital tools and data speed up response. Research turns experience into evidence, and partnerships carry what works to more places.
Together these changes build a resilient, equitable, and integrated emergency healthcare ecosystem.
